Why should I get a Walker for my dog?

Out of all the dog services, dog-walking is probably the viewed as the most overrated, but in reality, consistent dog walks have a TON of benefits for your dog! Here are just a few:

1. A regular walking routine combats weight issues

Every dog of every breed and every age needs exercise, and failing to establish a consistent exercise routine can lead to weight issues in dogs very quickly.

2. Dogs don't self-entertain

Even if you leave your dog outside, that doesn't mean your dog will be running around all day while you're gone. Dogs like to play, but not often on their own. While they may have the puppy crazies or zoomies for short bursts, they don't play by themselves for very long when left alone.

3. Walks are training opportunities

Dogs don't automatically know how to walk on a leash, and they want to establish themselves as the lead, so it takes practice to make progress! Regular walks lead to less pulling, more discipline and less distractions.

4. Walks are great for socialization and exploration

Dogs are naturally curious. They want to explore new territories, and often claim it as their own. They want to see as much of the world as possible, and walks are the major way they can! Also, they're usually going to meet other dogs along the way, which is great for socialization.
